Saxony: Four seriously injured after a collision with a tram

Dresden (dpa/sn) - Four people in a car, including two children, were seriously injured in a collision with a tram. According to the police, a 34-year-old driver wanted to turn his car on Albertstrasse in Dresden on Saturday afternoon when the car was hit by a tram. In addition to the 34-year-old, a 31-year-old woman and a two-year-old child and an infant were in the car and were taken to hospital with serious injuries. It was not initially known whether it was a family. According to initial estimates, the police put the damage at around 31,000 euros.
