Saxony: hit pedestrians and seriously injured

Hohenstein-Ernstthal (dpa/sn) - A 58-year-old pedestrian in Hohenstein-Ernstthal (Zwickau district) was hit by a car driver and seriously injured. The 21-year-old missed the pedestrian on Monday afternoon and hit him with his vehicle, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. According to the spokesman, the pedestrian, who was dependent on walking aids, is in a clinic for inpatient treatment.
