Saxony: Many accidents caused by black ice in the Dresden area

Dresden (dpa/sn) - Wintry road conditions caused numerous accidents on Tuesday, especially in the Dresden area. By noon, 49 accidents were registered, the police said. Four people were injured. In the morning in Tharandt (Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains), a cyclist fell on an icy road. The 43-year-old was taken to a hospital. For the most part, however, the police registered body damage.
