Saxony: Suspicion of bodily harm: investigations against police officers

Dresden (dpa / sn) - A Dresden police officer is being investigated on suspicion of two physical injuries in office. The 45-year-old officer is accused of hitting two 17-year-olds from Afghanistan and Chechnya while checking a group of young people on the Königsufer last Friday evening, the Dresden police department said on Wednesday. The Dresden police observed the behavior of the colleague, confronted him and initiated criminal proceedings on the spot. Disciplinary proceedings have also been initiated.
