Leipzig (dpa / sn) - Unknown people have smeared the facade of a bowling bar in Markkleeberg with a dark-colored substance. As the Saxony State Criminal Police Office (LKA) announced on Wednesday, the window panes of the bar were also smashed. According to the LKA, a company car parked in front of the bar was damaged in the same period between Tuesday (7 February at 11 p.m.) and Wednesday (8 February at 8:05 a.m.). The amount of the total damage could not be quantified, it said.
Since a political background cannot be ruled out, the police counter-terrorism and extremism center (PTAZ) took over further investigations. According to an LKA spokesman, a letter of confession from the left-wing scene had recently appeared in a similar case. "We are now checking whether there is a connection," he told the dpa.
