"Shrinking" with Harrison Ford: When therapists need therapy

A group practice and three therapists, all of whom have massive problems. The comedy-drama series Shrinking, starring Jason Segel, Jessica Williams and Harrison Ford, is fun without skimping on the pain.

Jimmy (Jason Segel), a therapist at a group practice, is dealing with the death of his wife. His escape into drugs, while distracting, understandably fails to ease his grief. As his condition begins to affect his patients, he is helped by fellow struggling colleagues Gaby (Jessica Williams) and Paul (Harrison Ford).

The comedy-drama series Shrinking - streaming on Apple TV - is fun and entertaining while not ignoring the dramas of life. The cast is convincing down to the smallest supporting roles - above all the now 80-year-old Harrison Ford.
