"Steal the show from everyone": Verona Pooth runs for Philipp Plein at Fashion Week

For many models, the career ends when they are in their early 30s at the latest. Not with Verona Pooth! The 54-year-old caused a stir with a surprising walk at Milan Fashion Week. Together with star designer Philipp Plein, she sends a sweet video greeting to her son.

Verona Pooth sniffed catwalk air: At the Philipp Plein fashion show as part of Milan Fashion Week, the 54-year-old walked the catwalk for the designer. She wore a sparkling, black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline, matching boots and a cowboy hat as an accessory.

As the celebrity portal "vip.de" reports, Pooth received tips from the designer before her appearance. "I think you're running great, shoulders a bit back, a bit more aggressive, looking straight ahead, showing no teeth and self-confident as always," he explained to Pooth, who drew a positive conclusion after her walk: "It was fun, it was a huge compliment and it was a bit like coming home."

The presenter, entrepreneur and actress, who was already modeling at the age of 15, came to the catwalk job as a surprise, as she previously revealed in an Instagram story. After completing a shoot in the glitter suit, she and Plein sent a video message to her son San Diego. "Your mom is going to walk alongside all the models tonight and steal the show," the designer explained to the camera. "It's really like that, I'm here in Milan and now he asked me spontaneously," Pooth confirmed her appearance.

After the fashion show, which included rapper Bia and motorcycles driving down the catwalk, Plein, who was showing his fall/winter 2023/2024 collection, thanked Instagram: "Thanks Milan. 7,000 people came and saw what they needed to see, to believe it. It's not lonely up there."
