Thuringia: animal bites dead lambs in Weimarer Land

Ilmtal-Weinstraße (dpa/th) - In the Weimarer Land district, a previously unknown animal killed twelve lambs in a sheep pasture. The next day, two adult sheep were also bitten to death in the same place, the district office said. Since the incidents in the nights from Thursday to Friday and Friday to Saturday, regional owners have been called to be careful. The veterinary office and the Thuringian Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Nature Conservation have started the investigation.
