Thuringia: drunk woman drives to the police after driving under the influence of alcohol

Nordhausen (dpa/th) - A drunk woman drove her car directly to the police in Nordhausen. The officials had just taken the 46-year-old's driver's license away because she was driving under the influence of alcohol after a breath alcohol test on her on Friday afternoon showed a value of almost four per thousand (3.97). About seven hours later, the woman appeared in her car at the police station to talk to the officers about her first trip, a spokesman said on Saturday. The police officers tested her again – a second alcohol test showed the driver still had a blood alcohol level of 3.1.
