Thuringia: DWD expects a significant increase in the risk of forest fires

Erfurt (dpa/th) - The German Weather Service (DWD) expects a significant increase in the risk of forest fires in Thuringia on Thursday. The DWD announced on Wednesday that danger level 4, and thus the second highest, was reached in many parts of the Free State. On Friday rain and thunderstorms could provide relaxation. Then probably only the forest fire danger level 3 will prevail.
