Dörtendorf (dpa/th) - Alexandra Manly from Australia won the third stage of the 34th Tour of Thuringia on Thursday. The tour leader, who won in Hof on the first day, extended her lead in the overall standings. After 129.2 kilometers starting and finishing in Dörtendorf (district of Greiz), Marta Lach from Poland took second place ahead of Femke Gerritse from the Netherlands. Fourth place went to Ricarda Bauernfeind from Eichstadt.
The fourth stage begins and ends on Friday at the Schleizer Dreieck race track. The finale of the six-day tour over almost 700 kilometers is on Sunday in Altenburg.
