Fear of surveillance "unreasonable": How networked cars protect against traffic accidents

At the Shift Mobility as part of the IFA in Berlin, the focus was on possible mobility solutions for the future. Established companies and startups presented their visions and applications. Webfleet is already working across Europe and also offers solutions for connected cars. However, many potential users are afraid of digitally networked mobility.

"Completely without reason," says Wolfgang Schmid, head of Webfleet in Germany. "We help and train drivers to get through traffic safely and efficiently."

"The premise of all researchers is that there will be no victims of traffic accidents in the future," says blogger and mobility expert Sascha Pallenberg. Connected cars can actually help here.
