They appear intellectually and politely. Ten young men gar at an information booth of reality Islam in Frankfurt signatures against a headscarf ban. "The boys are very fond. I think it's good to see anor side of Islam, "says a young passerby at booth.

The campaign "Raise your voice against headscarf ban" is good for many. On-and offline, reality Islam (especially in Rhine-main area and in North Rhine-Westphalia) and group Generation Islam from Hamburg have already collected about 140,000 signatures. They responded to deliberation of North Rhine-Westphalian provincial government to ban headscarf for girls under age of 14 in schools. The CDU-FDP provincial government is examining wher children who are not responsible for religion can be protected from family coercion.

"The signature campaign is intended to give impression that re is a general ban on headscarf in Germany," says Maik Fielitz of Institute for Peace Research and security policy at University of Hamburg. The message of campaign to young Muslims is to strengn ir own Muslim identity in fight against supposedly looming headscarf ban.

    The goal is a caliphate

According to constitutional protection authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Hamburg re are far greater goals behind this. The organizations wanted to replace parliamentary democracy by a caliphate with rules of Sharia law. One does not exclude a "high Islamist radicalisation potential of grouping reality Islam", hr-Info quotes Hessian office for protection of Constitution.

The authorities come to this assessment because groupings are in "intellectual proximity" to Hizb ut-Tahrir. The international organisation is banned in Germany. For Hizb ut-Tahrir not only disputes right of existence of State of Israel, but also calls for destruction of Israel and killing of Jews. In year 2003 Federal Ministry founded ban.

The ban was triggered by a Hizb ut-Tahrir major event in Berlin in previous year. The n president of NPD, Udo Voigt, and NPD-plenipotentiary and ex-RAF terrorist Horst Mahler also appeared re. Islamists and right-wing extremists gared about anti-Semitism.
