Budget 2022: Interior increases 5.1% its funds and exceeds 9,000 million euros

The draft general budgets presented on Wednesday by the Government at the Congress of Deputies raises 5.1% the departure destined for the Ministry of the Interior, which reaches 9,362.

The increase is 456 million compared to the budget in force of 8,906, according to the summary of the public accounts that seek to be approved that it has facilitated by the Executive.

The draft general budgets, whose details have been made known this morning, is in full processing phase.

It is also included, an increase in personnel expenses of 236.6 million euros (which translates by 3.23% of current accounts) and in current expenses for goods and services the increase is 75.8 million euros (+ 6.1%).

In the bill, item standings for the Civil Guard and the National Police Body for the vehicle fleet. Specifically, the Armed Institute increases over 10.3 million spending for their own means such as aircraft and boats. There will be an investment of 20 million intended for the replacement of vehicles.

There is also included within the investments 114.7 million euros destined for computer improvements, electoral processes or renewal of police equipment, as well as the fleet of vehicles and helicopters of the security forces and bodies of the State. For the latter, 82 million will be allocated.
