UGT has convened eight days of strike among all the workers of the land of Iberia to protest against the unilateral decision of the airline to suspend negotiations of the XXI Collective Agreement of Land.
The day originally proposed for the walkouts will be every Monday, from 30 of September to 18 of November, has informed the UGT, who has registered today the strike call to all the work centres of the company.
The strike call comes after the 9th of September the union to inform the airline in advance of any conflict.
"once the term expires, that UGT gave the company to reset and immediately terminating the negotiation of the XXI Collective Agreement, given the lack of response, the union has registered this morning call for a strike to all work centers and all the groups from Iberia," said the union in a press release.
In the note, UGT makes a call to the rest of the trade union organizations with representation on the airline to join the proposal to resolve the precariousness of employment that take time denouncing.
