North Rhine-Westphalia: 21-year-old flees from the police: five injured

Bonn (dpa / lnw) - A 32-year-old driver fled from the police in Bonn, drove through a red traffic light and rammed a car coming from the right. Both the man and the four occupants in the vehicle, aged between 20 and 34, were injured early Friday morning, two of them seriously, a police spokesman said. There is no danger to life.

The 32-year-old was noticed by the officials on the Autobahn because of his noticeably slow speed. When they wanted to check him, he disregarded the stop signs and fled before leaving the autobahn at the Auerberg exit. The road and tracks of the S-Bahn were temporarily closed, the spokesman said. A blood sample was taken from the person who caused the accident.
