North Rhine-Westphalia: after shots at money transporter: wanted poster

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Six days after the spectacular attack on a money transporter in Cologne, the police are asking posters for witnesses. The focus is on the vehicles used in the robbery. One of them was stolen at the end of June in the Rhein-Sieg district in Siegburg and set on fire after the fact, the other was used to escape. The wanted poster, which the police put up and distributed in the vicinity of the robbery, contains information about a stolen license plate and a conspicuous advertising sticker. The "Kölner Stadtanzeiger" had previously reported on the wanted posters.

The security guards were slowed down by two cars last Friday (July 22) at around 7:30 a.m. in the Marienburg district. The dark-clad perpetrators asked them to open the armored car. When the guards failed to do so, their car was shot at. The suspects made no prey, then set fire to one of their cars and fled in the second, a dark gray van. Several dozen shell casings were found at the crime scene.
