Every Bourgetain tourist and neighbor should make it a point to mark their calendars as the 2021 first edition was a huge success. It is the feast of the commune, which will be held on Saturday, July 9th, also known as "Celebration Day".
For this day, three key words are important: music, games, and conviviality. We must also add shade. In these extremely hot conditions, it is a blessing to be able organize the party under the shade of the trees in the meadow adjacent to the French gardens at the Priory.
The party will begin at 11 a.m., with the Parade of the Cocktail de Zic Brass Band, followed by the Official Opening by Mayor Nicolas Mercat. After that, a dance demonstration in the playful Meadow by Love2dance School and the Musical Workshop, before the Festival Committee serves the aperitif.
The entire afternoon will be dedicated to games with the musical soundtrack in the background. No less than six groups will compete for an award ceremony at 6:15 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m., Savoie will lead the initiation to swing with them. The big blind test by the Savoies will take place at 7:45.
The Chabert group is next, hoping for better luck than last year, when his performance was cancelled by the rain.
The municipality will hold all points for eating and drinking around guinguettes.
