Saxony: AfD wants amnesty for all violations of corona measures

Dresden (dpa/sn) - The AfD in the Saxon state parliament wants to apply for the cessation of all corona procedures. "We are demanding an amnesty for all violations of what we consider to be unconstitutional corona measures in Saxony," said party and parliamentary group leader Jörg Urban on Wednesday in Dresden. He accused the government of the Free State of having established “one of the toughest corona regimes in all of Germany”. "Of course, these excessive measures provoked resistance from the citizens. This led to a particularly high number of administrative offences." The AfD wants to submit the application for amnesty at the next state parliament session.
