Series of murders of senior citizens: Another death in Schwäbisch Hall is being examined

At the beginning of the week, a Serb was arrested in Schwäbisch Hall who is said to have killed several elderly women. Now the police are investigating another death. However, the fact that the body was cremated complicates the investigation.

After the arrest of a 31-year-old who is said to have killed two senior citizens in Schwäbisch Hall and the surrounding area, investigators are investigating another death. Because an 86-year-old woman from the neighborhood of one of the two victims and the alleged perpetrator had died just a week earlier, a possible connection was being investigated, said senior public prosecutor Harald Lustig.

However, this test is made more difficult: "The corpse is no longer there," Lustig confirmed a report in the "Haller Tagblatt". The woman was cremated. She was found with a fatal head injury, but her death was classified as an accident. The 31-year-old arrested last Tuesday is meanwhile remaining silent. He is accused of murder and manslaughter.

He is said to have killed an 89-year-old in Michelbach an der Bilz last week and a 77-year-old in Schwäbisch Hall in December 2022. He is also suspected of being responsible for the robbery of an 89-year-old man. It is also unclear whether the Serb is responsible for other crimes in Germany.

The death of a 94-year-old senior whose body was found in October 2020 in Schwäbisch Hall and very close to the dead 77-year-old's apartment has also not yet been clarified. The police are still investigating a connection, but have not yet found any concrete evidence of this.
