Historic record at the price of electricity this Wednesday. The cost of the megawatt hour will reach 306.57 euros, a record never seen. With this data, the price of light is maintained two days consecutively above the three figures.

The new electric silver is added to the high price chain registered in July and that, today, leave an average price of 92 euros in terms of month. This figure is 10.5% higher than that of June, when the electric thermometer beat its monthly record and forced the government to take measures as an urgent basis to try to mitigate the impact on the receipt. These measures, however, have lost its effect after the abrupt increment that is experiencing the electricity market in July.

The worst time to consume electricity this Wednesday will be 21:00 hours, when the period from the most expensive market coincides (110 euros per megawatt hour) with tolls and higher charges. These last two constitute the fixed part of the receipt and are set by the Government and the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC). In the last change, which took place on June 1, different stripes were established throughout the day with costs that can be duplicated among the 'peak hours' (10: 00-14: 00 and 18: 00-22 : 00) and the valley (00: 00-08: 00 and the whole weekend).

The President of the PP, Pablo Marriedo, has loaded this Tuesday against the government warning that the rise of light leaves "back to millions of families in full wave of heat". In his opinion, the "radicality" of the Government of PSOE and united can be in energy politics "too expensive to the Spaniards".

The Minister of Consumer, Alberto Garzón, has linked the rise in the price of light to "international factors" as the high cost of gas quotation and has warned that in the coming months this will remain high. Asked at a press conference after the Council of Ministers due to the possibility that the Government takes new measures to reduce the electrical impact on recovery, Garzón has referred to the recent 10% VAT drop and has indicated that the road passes through Continue betting on renewable energies.
