After Corona delay: "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland got married

The corona pandemic thwarted their wedding plans several times. A good two years later, "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland and her partner Wells Adams are now officially married. The couple celebrates with friends and family at a Californian winery.

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are now officially husband and wife. Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, the couple has repeatedly had to postpone their wedding. Over the weekend, the "Modern Family" actress and her fiancé finally tied the knot at a California winery.

A number of celebrities attended the wedding reception, most notably Hyland's "Modern Family" co-stars Sofía Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Both shared several snaps from the dream wedding, which was undoubtedly in good spirits. Vergara threw herself into a sleek black and white midi dress.

She captioned a hilarious snap of her with Ferguson and other wedding guests, "Sarah and Wells Wedding." Ferguson shared a photo with husband Justin Mikita, with whom he is currently expecting their second child. The two beam into the camera in their light blue suits. "Fathers in the exit," he commented on the post. Claire actress Julie Bowen and Hyland's serial brother Nolan Gould can also be spotted in some snapshots.

Hyland and Adams actually wanted to get married two years ago, but like many other celebrities, they had to put their wedding on hold for the time being due to the corona pandemic. Adams himself revealed this in a video interview with Access Hollywood. If the Corona crisis continues for a long time, he can only imagine a small "backyard wedding". But that will most likely not happen - there are far too many TV celebrities "who have to give us gifts," Hyland's fiancé joked at the time.

Hyland has been with former "The Bachelorette" contestant Wells Adams since 2017 and they got engaged in 2019. From 2009 to 2014 she dated actor Matt Prokop, against whom she made serious allegations of domestic violence. She also dated her Vampire Academy co-star Dominic Sherwood for about two years before meeting her now husband.
