Rescuers from Jausiers High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon were called to help a 17-year old boy who had been injured in a mountain biking accident on Sunday, July 3. The boy was transported to Enchastrayes. He was suffering from a head injury and a severe knee injury. Two PGHM soldiers and a doctor of the National Association of Mountain Physicians and Rescuers (ANMSM) took care of him. He was flown to Digne-les-Bains by the helicopter of the airdetachment of gendarmerie.
