Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Four strangers threatened a 22-year-old man in Stuttgart with a knife and robbed him of several hundred euros. The perpetrators approached the man early Saturday morning when he was withdrawing money from an ATM, police said. One of the four snatched the bills from his hand, threatened with a knife and demanded the victim's phone. The 22-year-old complied with the request. The perpetrators then urged the man to withdraw money again.
When the bills were handed over, the young man grabbed his phone, fled to a bar and called the police. Initial searches were unsuccessful. Now the police are looking for witnesses.
