Alpirsbach (dpa / lsw) - A resident was seriously injured in a fire in a home for asylum seekers in the Freudenstadt district on Monday night. The 41-year-old jumped from the second floor of the house in Alpirsbach to safety from the flames and sustained the injuries, the police said. He came to a hospital.
The building, which housed around 25 people of different nationalities, is said to be uninhabitable. The police put the damage at a six-figure sum.
The cause of fire was unclear for the moment. According to the police, there is no evidence of a racially motivated crime.
