Königsbach-Stein (dpa/lsw) - According to the police, around 200,000 euros in property damage occurred when a baling press caught fire in a field near Königsbach-Stein (Enzkreis). The cause of the fire was probably a technical defect, the police said on Sunday. The driver of the tractor pulling the baler was not injured. He was also able to uncouple his vehicle in time and bring it to safety. The surrounding field caught fire over an area of ​​around two hectares. However, both the fire on the machine and on the field were quickly brought under control.
