Baden-Württemberg: cyclist dies in a traffic accident

Hohentengen (dpa / lsw) - An 82-year-old cyclist died in an accident at an intersection on Thursday evening in Hohentengen (Sigmaringen district). According to the police on Friday, a 17-year-old scooter driver noticed the senior too late when turning and then initiated an emergency stop. The 82-year-old cyclist also braked abruptly. He fell and hit his head on the road. He succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The scooter driver suffered minor injuries during the evasive maneuver.
