Baden-Württemberg: Driver crashes into car: 70-year-old dies

Villingen-Schwenningen (dpa/lsw) - A 70-year-old driver died in a head-on collision with another car on Saturday. As the police announced, a 59-year-old had previously met him on his trail. It was initially unclear why the woman in the accident near Villingen-Schwenningen (Schwarzwald-Baar district) got onto the oncoming lane of the federal highway 523. She was also trapped in her car and seriously injured, but is now out of danger, the police said. The 70-year-old, on the other hand, later died in hospital.
