Baden-Württemberg: drivers seriously injured after a collision with a truck

Adelberg (dpa / lsw) - A man's car collided head-on with a truck and was seriously injured. The 37-year-old came into the oncoming lane in a right-hand bend on Friday for an initially unknown reason, the police said on Saturday. He then collided with the oncoming truck. The car rotated 180 degrees as a result of the impact. Both vehicles came off the road near Adelberg (Göppingen district) and stopped on the green strip. The fire brigade rescued the seriously injured man from his car, and a rescue helicopter took him to a hospital. The 35-year-old driver of the truck was unharmed.
