Ludwigsburg (dpa / lsw) - An e-bike rider resisted a police check in Ludwigsburg and slightly injured an officer. According to the police, the 47-year-old was noticed on Friday night when he suddenly fell off his bike. Because he seemed drunk, two police officers asked him to take a breath alcohol test. However, the cyclist resisted so violently that the officials had to bring him to the ground and call for reinforcements.
During the operation, which lasted more than an hour, according to a police spokeswoman, the man kicked a police officer between the legs, among other things. After all, the man finally apologized and endured a blood test. The recalcitrant 47-year-old must now expect to be charged with assaulting police officers, assault, drunk driving, threats and insults.
