Leonberg (dpa / lsw) - A woman was stopped by the police on Autobahn 81 because she was singing karaoke at the wheel. The 32-year-old explained that she is a singer and dancer and rehearses her songs on the way to a performance. The woman kept looking at her singing app on her cell phone on Thursday evening and crossing the lane markings on the motorway to the left and right, the police said on Friday.
The woman had put her cell phone on her lap and sang along with the lyrics. The police finally stopped her in Stuttgart. The price for the Schlinger-Fahrt is a misdemeanor proceeding, despite the police officers' sympathy for the lady's stage fright. After all, the woman was allowed to continue driving to her performance, it said.
