As the company from Oberderdingen (Karlsruhe district) announced on Tuesday, sales in the 2021 financial year increased by 18.5 percent to 483 million euros compared to the previous year. The CEO, Frank Gfrörer, sees this as confirmation of the focus on becoming a premium provider. The corona pandemic has increased the desire of many consumers for more quality of life in everyday life and in their own four walls.
The company has invested part of its expenses totaling around 13 million euros in strengthening its international production and logistics network. It has been represented in Australia with its own subsidiary since May. It withdraws from the Russian market. Business there has practically come to a standstill. According to the information, 15 employees were employed here.
The family-owned company does not give any figures on the result. At the end of 2021, Blanco employed 1,647 people, around 1,000 more than in the previous year. Among them were 1140 employees in Germany.
