Baden-Württemberg: Man dies in an apartment fire because of a cigarette

Wangen im Allgäu (dpa/lsw) - A man died in an apartment fire in Wangen im Allgäu (Ravensburg district). Investigators believe a cigarette started the fire on Wednesday. When the emergency services extinguished the flames, they discovered the lifeless 55-year-old. An emergency doctor could only determine his death. The other residents of the multi-party building were unharmed, according to the police.
