Baden-Württemberg: Man rams wild boar and thinks it is another car

Dossenheim (dpa / lsw) - A drunken driver hit a wild boar with his car near Dossenheim (Rhein-Neckar district) - and mistook the animal for another car. As the police announced on Tuesday, the 75-year-old claimed to have been rammed by an oncoming vehicle whose driver simply drove on. However, police officers found a dead adult wild boar near the scene of the accident, which probably wanted to cross the road on Monday evening. A breath alcohol test showed the man a value of almost 0.4 per mille.
