Blumberg (dpa / lsw) - A man from the Netherlands wanted to smuggle drugs in a prepared stack of boards. Customs officers checked the 24-year-old's van near Blumberg (Schwarzwald-Baar district) and discovered twelve kilograms of marijuana and five kilograms of cannabis paste in a cavity on the loading area. The driver had stated that he had visited his sick grandmother in Switzerland and had not loaded any goods that had to be declared, as the main customs office announced on Tuesday. After the control in early April, he was temporarily arrested. An arrest warrant was issued against him.
