Weikersheim (dpa / lsw) - A man got stuck overnight in the mud of the Tauber river near Weikersheim (Main-Tauber district). On Tuesday evening, he probably stumbled drunk into the river and got his legs stuck in the mud, police said on Wednesday. The 57-year-old was no longer able to free himself on his own and was only discovered by a passer-by after more than ten hours. The man was taken to hospital by paramedics with severe hypothermia.
