Baden-Württemberg: Two men seriously injured after a head-on collision

Stutensee (dpa / lsw) - Two drivers were seriously injured in a head-on collision of their cars on a country road near Stutensee (Karlsruhe district). According to the police, a 61-year-old wanted to overtake a scooter driver, but overlooked an oncoming van and collided with it. The 58-year-old driver of the van was trapped and had to be freed by the fire department. Paramedics took both drivers to the hospital with serious injuries.
