Baden-Württemberg: Untreated sewage leads to the death of trout

St. Georgen (dpa / lsw) - A clogged drain pipe ensured that untreated sewage overflowed into the Weidenbach in St. Georgen and led to the death of around 30 trout. As the police further announced on Monday, children found several dead fish on Sunday. The waste water was then collected and clarified, and a specialist company cleared the blockage in the drain pipe. After that, no more untreated waste water could get into the stream in the Black Forest-Baar district. The creek is a tributary to the Brigach.
