Bavaria: 83-year-old dies while swimming in Wörthsee

Wörthsee (dpa / lby) - An 83-year-old died while swimming in Wörthsee (Starnberg district) in Upper Bavaria. The drivers of an electric boat had seen the man floating lifeless in the water on Tuesday, the lifeguard said on Wednesday. The first responders kept the senior afloat until the emergency services arrived. Unfortunately, the resuscitation measures that were immediately initiated on the lifeboat and continued on land were unsuccessful. How exactly the alleged swimming accident happened was initially unclear.
