Bavaria: car collides with bicycle: 17-year-old dies

Pemfling (dpa / lby) - A cyclist died in an accident on a state road near Pemfling in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham. A police spokesman said a 50-year-old driver ignored the 17-year-old's right of way at a junction on Monday evening. The car then crashed into the bike. The cyclist died instantly. The driver suffered minor injuries. An ambulance took him to a hospital. According to the police, there is no evidence that the driver had drunk alcohol or taken any other drugs.
