Bavaria: Man coughs on woman in an argument and threatens corona infection

Weiden in der Oberpfalz (dpa/lby) - In a dispute, a 49-year-old coughed on a woman in the Upper Palatinate and claimed that he was infected with the corona virus. As the police announced on Sunday, the man got into an argument with an employee on Friday in business premises in Weiden. The homeless man is said to have refused to leave the premises and deliberately coughed in the woman's face, sources said. He is said to have claimed to be infected with the corona virus. The public prosecutor classified the man's behavior as dangerous bodily harm, so the investigating judge ordered a PCR test. The test was negative, but the man is now being investigated for attempted dangerous bodily harm.
