Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - With so-called airsoft weapons, a man scared people at a Nuremberg underground station. Witnesses saw the 19-year-old at the Wöhrder Wiese station with what appeared to be an assault rifle and called the police, investigators said on Tuesday. The officers temporarily arrested the young man at the train station on Monday evening and also found a pistol on him.
As it turned out, these were deceptively real-looking airsoft guns. The 19-year-old also had a butterfly knife with him without permission. He is now being investigated for violations of the weapons law.
