Donauwörth (dpa / lby) - When searching eight apartments and a garden in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries, the police found drugs and weapons. A 23-year-old was taken into custody, as the police headquarters in Swabia North announced on Wednesday in consultation with the Augsburg public prosecutor's office.
The investigations are directed against seven men between the ages of 21 and 39 and a 20-year-old. During the searches of their apartments on Tuesday, the officers found around 3.3 kilos of marijuana, amphetamine in the three-digit gram range, almost 25,000 euros in cash, a stun gun, a throwing knife, a throwing ax and a baseball bat.
The 23-year-old, who was taken into custody, is said to have been accused of illegal trafficking in narcotics in large quantities. The police and public prosecutor's office did not initially provide any further details.
