North Rhine-Westphalia: Attempted rape in Cologne hospital

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - In the basement of a Cologne hospital, an employee was attacked by a man and seriously injured. Because of the incident in front of the staff changing rooms on Tuesday evening, the police are investigating an attempted rape. The unknown perpetrator is said to have hit the woman and tore at her clothing. Probably because she called out loud for help, he let her go and fled, the police said on Wednesday. He is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old.
