Alzenau (dpa / lby) - After a robbery on a money transporter in Lower Franconia, the police are relying on the help of witnesses. Two strangers disguised as police officers stopped a money transporter in Alzenau (Aschaffenburg district) on Friday, tied up the two employees and robbed the van. According to the information, the loot was gold granules. They left the getaway vehicle a little later and set it on fire.
According to a statement on Monday, the investigators are asking witnesses for clues: including the getaway vehicle, a Jaguar with the fake license plate number GG-FO 215; to the loot that may have been offered for purchase; to suspicious perceptions at the scene of the crime and at the scene of the fire; as well as on the transport boxes of the loot.
