Würzburg (dpa / lby) - The fire involving a dead young woman in Würzburg in Lower Franconia was probably triggered by a stove that was accidentally switched on. An object standing on the stove then apparently caught fire, said a police spokesman on Wednesday.
During the smoldering fire last week on Thursday night, the 27-year-old suffered severe smoke inhalation in her apartment and came to the hospital. She died there about an hour later. No other people were injured in the fire.
