Spalt (dpa/lby) - After an alleged arson in a church in the Middle Franconian town of Spalt (Roth district), the criminal police have identified a suspect. The police said on Tuesday that it was a young person. A spokeswoman said nothing was known about the suspect's motive.
On Saturday, the altar of the church in the old town of Spalt was on fire. According to the police, these spread from a cloth to a wooden frame and finally to a side entrance door. The Firefighters put out the fire. The Kripo Schwabach then took up the investigation into particularly serious arson.
