Fürth (dpa / lby) - The offers of youth work in Bavaria have decreased significantly in the past year compared to before the corona pandemic. With around 8,000 publicly funded offers, the number has almost halved compared to the last survey in 2019, the State Office for Statistics announced on Monday in Fürth. At that time there were still 14,800 offers, it said when asked.
In addition, the number of participants fell by more than 67 percent. The number of volunteers fell from almost 85,000 to almost 33,000. The decline in offers from independent organizations (-54.2 percent) and in events and projects (-51.2 percent) was particularly strong.
