Everyone loves Sharon: "The best Bachelorette ever"

Who will the "Bachelorette" choose in the grand finale? TV viewers will find out tonight on RTL. But even before the last rose is taken, one thing is already certain: Sharon Battiste has not only won the heart of her chosen one.

Anyone who has not already checked RTL in advance will now find out on Thursday evening from 8.15 p.m. on RTL at the latest who “The Bachelorette” will present their last rose to. However, Sharon Battiste has not only enchanted single men in recent weeks. Fans of the show were also enthusiastic about this year's season of the dating format.

Even Bill Kaulitz was euphoric about the 30-year-old in the joint podcast with his twin brother Tom. He thinks she is "the best bachelorette of all time," said the Tokio Hotel singer. "She's incredibly confident, sweet and human. She seems like she has a good heart but is still tough. She's also beautiful," he said. Numerous users in the social networks are of the same opinion as the musician.

What did Battiste do differently from her predecessors? Some "Bachelorettes" seemed reserved and calm when dealing with the men. Battiste, on the other hand, proved from episode one that she was not stupid. She joked with the candidates the first time they met, picked them up and even laughed at herself.

"I think Sharon is just great. Likeable, quick-witted, funny, beautiful, could also be a Hollywood star," enthused a user on Twitter about the appearance of "Bachelorette".

Battiste herself explains that she had the right to "stay true to me" on the show. The soap actress adds: "I wanted to be just as fun and easygoing as I am in real life." And further: "I can be very loud and very direct, but sometimes also very taciturn. I just gave myself the way I am."

Battiste suffers from circular hair loss, so-called alopecia areata. Before filming, she decided to shave her hair. In the show, she not only spoke openly about this step, but also presented herself to the men in episode five for the first time without a wig. A special moment in the show's history that signaled that you can still feel beautiful even if you don't conform to common beauty ideals.

A message that is very important to Battiste: "I hope that I can encourage every woman or person (...) that you can do and achieve anything - even with this diagnosis." With the step of presenting herself bald, she also impressed the candidates. "That was incredibly strong of you," she heard from them.

Numerous fans celebrated the "Bachelorette" for their message on social media. "This season's 'Bachelorette' reminds me of a Coco Chanel quote: 'Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.' Just awesome!" summed up a fan on Twitter.

Another user wrote about a photo that shows Sharon without a wig but with a proud smile when looking in the mirror: "This is how every woman should look in the mirror."

Also unusual for the format that has existed since 2004: "Bachelorette" Sharon always gave her feelings and thoughts transparent and unembellished expression. In doing so, she dispensed with many of the phrases that have become established in the dating format over the years. The 30-year-old always said exactly what she wanted - and what not. When candidate Tim J. got too close to her while dancing, she made it clear to him that it was "a little too fast, a little too close" for her. "Shifting down a gear would be good." She also expected men to be open about their feelings.

Despite her extraordinary role as "Bachelorette", Battiste remained relaxed and uncomplicated. When a group date literally fell through because it had rained too hard, she spontaneously decided to accompany the candidates to her villa. There she drank beer with everyone and had dinner with them. It doesn't matter who becomes her sweetheart in the end - Battiste has already written show history as probably the most authentic and funniest "Bachelorette".
