After learning about the death of his father, Didier Deschamps left Clairefontaine this Tuesday with a full crowd of the Blues. With the permission of the federation the coach of France took the leadership of the Basque Country and joined his family during this difficult ordeal.
"It was with great sadness that this morning I heard about Didier's disappearance. Noel Le Graet (president of the FFF) said that Didier left to be with his family.
Guy Stephan provided training for the Blues on Friday, when they will launch a new League of Nations campaign against Denmark at the Stade de France at 8:45 p.m.
It is not known how long Didier Deschamps will be absent.
